Mr. Anderson

Welcome to the Potomac Shores Athletics page!  After two years with the same information, I thought it was time to update this page.  It is my hope that this will be your one-stop shop for all questions regarding middle school sports at Potomac Shores.  My name is Brent Anderson, 6th grade social studies teacher, head boys' and girls' track coach, and the Athletic Director!

As we prepare to start the 3rd year at Potomac Shores, I’d like to first congratulate the following teams that won the regional championships last year: girls' track, boys’ soccer, girls' JV basketball, boys varsity & JV basketball, boys' track, and girls’ soccer.

We have four seasons for middle school sports in Prince William County: Fall, Winter I, Winter II, and Spring.  Additionally, the following sports are year-round sports: cheer, dance, and step.  To try out for any sport, every athlete needs a current sports physical on file with me (please make a copy for your records), as well as having completed the annual PWC concussion training.  New this year, no sports physical will be accepted on the day of tryouts.  Any athlete who turns their physical in on a tryout day will be allowed to tryout the following day.

Questions?  Please ask!

V/R,

Brent Anderson, CAA
